“Hi.” He began. “I am your son, Donnie.”
After a moment Thornton spoke.
“Oh, Donnie! I have waited so long for you. Do come in!”
This seemed odd, but Donnie shrugged it off and walked in.
“Hey dad, maybe next time I come over I can bring my boyfriend! I’m sure he would love to meet you.”
Thornton’s face grew a sour expression.
And with that, Donnie turned around and swiftly exited. He was glad to know where Thornton stood.

So I haven’t posted in a few weeks. I contracted the flu for around 2 weeks and I am now down with a cold. I am, however in well enough shape to write! (Note: the next chapter is basically a bunch of aging up.) Thank you, my three followers.

“They threatened the kids.” Piper whispered, tears in her eyes.
Frank instantly knew what she had meant. She had had an abduction nightmare, and thought that “they”-these creatures, would harm the kids.
“Neither you, this child, or Donnie are going to be harmed.” He began. “I’ll make sure of that.”
They were interrupted by cries from the next room.

“I looked outside, and there was this flying thing! It looked like a spaceship. Before I knew what was happening, I was abducted!” She began.
Frank had managed to calm her down. Her story seemed so absurd-was she lying? Of course not! Why would she lie? Why make up such an absurd story? But that was the catch. It was so absurd that it couldn’t have happened-could it have?

Piper feared that Frank was too traditional and disliked the woman proposing.
“YES!”
Piper slid the ring onto his finger, overjoyed.

I tried to buy as much time as I could-talking to the other guests. One woman, Victoria Andrews, interested me the most. She was a middle-aged married woman with no kids. I didn’t understand how she didn’t have any kids. What did she busy herself with? I asked her and she replied,
“Books.”
I chatted awhile longer with her and some other guests, then i knew i needed to tell Thornton.
“I’m pregnant! The baby is yours, you know, from the party?”
“Of course I remember, dear. That doesn’t mean I care. I hate children and I want nothing to do with any of them.”
I was taken aback. Part of me was relieved that I didn’t have to deal with him, yet another part of me was amazed that someone was able to abandon their own flesh and blood.
“Good.” I spat. “You will have nothing to do with this child’s life. I will raise him or her on my own.”
I ran off into the bedroom where Morgana was.
“Hey Thornton!” I exclaimed. “Come tell Morgana about your baby!”
Thornton came dashing in.
“Baby!?” Morgana exploded. “WHAT BABY?”
“I-I can explain.” Thornton stuttered.
“No, I can explain.” I entered the conversation. “Thornton got me pregnant at a party at Hank Goddard’s home. I had nothing to do with this and I didn’t even know until a short while ago.”
Morgana had reached her end.
“WE ARE OVER!” She screamed. “For YEARS you have refused having children. You have always insulted my art! Your commitment issues have invaded my life!”
“Fine!” Thornton repiled. “I don’t need YOU and I certainly don’t need children!”
Morgana and IÂ teamed up.
“You mean to tell me that you’ve had a wife who longs for children and who’s only passion is for art, and you deny both of those, her only passions?” I was enraged.
“Key word is had, Thornton.” Morgana said as she turned on her heel and left the room.
“If you ever decide to come near me or my child again, you will pay.” I said in a hushed tone.
And with that, I too turned on my heel and returned home.

Piper-
“Good morning, sleepyhead!” She said in a cheerful tone. “You had a bit too much to drink last night, and you crashed on the couch.”
I was unsure about what happened last night. What if I had done something I’ll regret? However, I chose to keep my worries to myself.
“Thanks, Pauline.” I said.
I got dressed and quickly left, embarrassed.
